Donald E. Blumenfeld, Ph.D.

Donald E. Blumenfeld is Raymond E. Brown Professor of Biblical Studies. He is a Roman Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey, and attended the North American College in Rome where he was ordained in 1979 by the late Pope John Paul II. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from Seton Hall University and the STB (Theology) from the Gregorian University. In 1997 he earned the PhD in Theological Studies at the Graduate Theological Foundation. Father Blumenfeld is Director of Pastoral Formation at Immaculate Conception Seminary & School of Theology, which is a component of Seton Hall University. He holds adjunct professor appointments in both the School of Theology and the University’s College of Arts and Sciences in the fields of Biblical Theology, Catholic Theology, Pastoral Theology and Religious Studies.
