The Guild for Spiritual Guidance

Long Beach, New York
  • Master of Pastoral Counseling (MPC)

The Guild for Spiritual Guidance is an organization that equips seekers to discover their own authentic spirituality. Anchored in inclusive community, we explore the depth psychology of C.G. Jung, the evolutionary cosmology of Teilhard de Chardin, and the timeless wisdom of the mystics. This process serves the development of the emerging global consciousness crucial to the creation of a sustainable future.

The Guild for Spiritual Guidance is a contemplative organization providing a two-year certificate program designed to prepare its members for a ministry of spiritual guidance within the diverse contexts of contemporary life.  Completion of the two-year Apprenticeship Program through The Guild for Spiritual Guidance will fulfill six of the eight required Units of Study toward the MPC degree.  The MPC student’s remaining academic requirements in this program will be:

  1. Submission to the GTF of a 10-12 page reflection and response paper for the following work done at The Guild for Spiritual Guidance
    1. Each of the Two Retreat Weekends (2 papers)
    2. Teilhard (Six 4-Hour Sessions)
    3. Jung (Six 4-Hour Sessions)

    5. Groundwork Sessions (Eighteen 1 ½ hour Sessions)
