Naser Alshaikh, Ph.D.

Imam Naser Alshaikh is Professor of Islamic Studies. He is a native of Palestine and a graduate of Al-Yarmouk University in Jordan where he studied the foundations of the Islamic religion in the faculty of Shariah and Islamic Studies. Dr. Alshaikh holds both the Master of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies from the Graduate Theological Foundation. He serves as Imam and Director of the Muslim American Society (MAS) of Philadelphia Center in Pennsylvania, as well as the president of MAS Philadelphia Chapter. Dr. Alshaikh is a member of the Tri State Imams Council and the North American Imams Federation. He is the author of several books, including Jihad in Islam Versus Terrorism; The Jurisprudence of the Priorities, and Lessons from the Quranic Stories.
