About the course: Psalm 147 says, “How good to sing praise to our God; how pleasant to give fitting praise” (v. 1). Without going into practical exercises of harmony, this course aims to make the student reflect critically on different aspects of traditional harmony and its use in worship, starting from Arnold Schoenberg’s thoughts.
