ABOUT THE COURSE

This course is divided into two parts. The first examines the origins, significance, and issues of the New Ecclesial Movements in the Catholic Church, The second examines the spirituality of communion that animates the Focolare Movement founded by Chiara Lubich. This general and more focused examination of the New Ecclesial Movements seeks to give them an historical context and evaluate their importance for Christian unity in the world today.
