Donald Schwab, Ph.D.

Donald Schwab is Professor of Counseling Psychology. With an academic and professional background in Theology, Spirituality, Systems Theory and Psychology, Dr. Schwab currently practices as both a therapist and consultant in Rochester, NY. He also holds adjunct teaching positions at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry (Pastoral Theology) and at Nazareth College of Rochester (Religious Studies). He holds the Master of Divinity from St. Bernard’s Seminary in Rochester and the Doctor of Ministry from Colgate Rochester Divinity School. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Pastoral Psychology from the Graduate Theological Foundation in 2004 and is the author of the book Therapist As Priest: The Spiritual Foundations of a Therapeutic Relationship (Cloverdale Books, 2007).
