About the course:
With the work “Gregorian Semiology” (1968), Dom Eugene Cardine summarized his teachings on the ancient adiastematic characters, especially those of the School of St. Gall (IX century), revolutionizing the way of interpreting Gregorian Chant. In this course, the student will be able to study these ancient characters and deepen the spirit of Gregorian Chant, seeing how this ancient way of writing music highlights the text to be sung.
