Master of Pastoral Counseling (M.P.C.)
This relationship allows a student to complete the majority of the coursework requirements for the M.P.C. degree at The Leven Institute. The Leven Institute offers somatic training programs to help enrich your talents and realize your potential as you bring healing and transformation to your clients and students! LIFE Movement’s 500-hour combined training programs required to fulfill the coursework requirements for the M.P.C include:
SomaSoul Somatic Therapy Training: Years 1 and 2 including Practitioner Practicum
Shake Your Soul: The Yoga of Dance Levels 1 and 2
SomaSoul Training could be your next step in connecting your spirit with your body. People who come to SomaSoul Training are in tune with their spirit and soul’s desire to grow and transform by tending to their physical and emotional body in healing ways. People also come to SomaSoul Training because they are drawn to providing compassionate support toward the healing and growth of others whether through their current therapy/healing practice or simply be of healing support to others in their life.
The core of SomaSoul Somatic Therapy is about deepening our capacity to truly listen to our bodies. Specifically, our capacity to listen to our emotional body. As we learn to be more connected to the somatic experience of our emotions, we can ground ourselves in our embodied experience of our emotions. This practice is the beginning step to somatic-emotional processing that is the cornerstone of SomaSoul Somatic Therapy.
Shake Your Soul Teacher Trainings empower graduates to guide a healing movement-dance class that allows for a rich and spiritually exuberant dance experience – one in which you guide students to discover their own soul-inspired movements.
Master of Pastoral Counseling
The full 500 hour certification program at The Leven Institute will fulfill all coursework requirements for the M.P.C. The remaining academic requirements are the Research Methodology course and master’s project completed through the Graduate Theological Foundation. Applicants should meet GTF prerequisites for admission to the M.P.C. degree: bachelor’s degree plus 5 years involvement in a faith community/ministry.
Tuition
Master of Pastoral Counseling (M.P.C.) $13,200
Tuition reflects administrative degree program costs charged by the GTF. Program costs charged by the PRIME institution are separate and additional and must be paid directly to the PRIME institution.
