Ann Kline, BCC

Ann Kline is Professor of Jewish Spirituality and Project Coordinator specializing in Group Spiritual Direction. She is also a spiritual director and supervisor in the Washington, D.C. area and a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC). Professor Kline has over 17 years of experience in group and individual spiritual direction as a practitioner, teacher and mentor, including work with the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation and the former Lev Shomea Jewish Spiritual Direction program. Her writing on group spiritual direction appears in Jewish Spiritual Direction: An Innovative Guide from Traditional and Contemporary SourcesSpiritual Direction in Context, and The Lived Experience of Group Spiritual Direction. She also serves as a hospice and palliative care chaplain and bereavement group facilitator.  

Professor Kline holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, the Juris Doctor from The George Washington University, and a Master of Arts (Pastoral and Spiritual Care) from Loyola University.
